Shibari for Fun - First Suspensions

Flower and Snake Kinbaku Lounge is happy to offer our continuing beginner curriculum series: Shibari for Play!

Shibari for Play - First Suspensions is the fourth and final installment in our Shibari for Play series. We will teach this class over the course of two Sunday Mornings, April 12 and April 19, from 10a until 1p. During our time together we will further attendees use of gravity in their scenes through the introduction of techniques for full suspension. Building from the upper and lower body harnesses, as well as upline connections learned in previous classes, we will further techniques in body handling, leverage, and proper techniques for lifting and lock-offs. Classes will include in-depth discussions on safer practices in rope bondage.

This course will prepare the tying partner to successfully tie upline connections to harnesses,  hard point lock-offs on both single points and bamboo, body handling, proper lifting technique, interpret…
