Beauty of Suffering Study Group

Flower and Snake Rope Lounge invites you to our Fourth Wednesday Beauty of Suffering Study Group. Inspired by the rope of Chimuo Nureki and Naka Akira, every fourth Wednesday, the Beauty of Suffering Study Group will take a deep dive into the topic of suffering in rope through the exploration of shapes and sequences.

Every session will begin with a discussion and picture sharing session giving the group the opportunity to organically develop a topic for exploration based on shared interests. We will experiment with format during each session, creating opportunities to observe your peers tying, as well as tying in front of your peers. We will end each session by sharing pictures taken during the session for a brief critique session of each willing tying pair (not mandatory to receive critique).
